1. Clear temporary files on your computer.(Prefetch,%Temp%,Temp,Tree) 

       Your computer generates a lot of temporary files each time you boot up and/or use applications. This takes up a considerable amount of space, further slowing down your system. You should clean it whenever you think your PC is slowing down more than usual. 

1) Open run type prefetch hit enter delete all the files from this folder.
2) Open run type %Temp% hit enter delete all the files from this folder.
3) Open run type Temp hit enter delete all the files from this folder.
4) Open run type tree hit enter.
5) Goto Recent Places delete all.
6) Restart.

2. Uninstall unused programs.

        Some programs even run background processes when you load your computer even though you are not using them.Uninstall those programs that you do not need. while being careful to leave programs your computer’s hardware needs.

To remove all these pointless programs

1) Open the Control Panel.
2) Choose Programs and Features tab.
3) Choose unistall the program.
4) Uninstall those programs that you do not need.

2) Run a search for "msconfig".
3) Click on Startup to see a list of all the programs that run when your boot up your computer.
4) Uncheck anything unnecessary.

1) Goto Control Panel.
2) Search for Windows Firewall.
3) Turn off it.

11. User Account Control Setting

1) Goto Control Panel.
2) Search for Change User Account Control Setting.
3) Reduce it to low and press ok.

(1) How to Hide Any Drive/Partition in Windows Using Command Prompt?

1. Press “Windows + R” and type “cmd”.

2. Type “DISKPART”. Now you see a new Dialog box open with command prompt.

3. Now type “LIST VOLUME”in the command prompt and press enter. (Now you see your all window drives or volumes with name or numbers.)

4. Now remember the volume letter or number you want to hide and type “SELECT VOLUME number or letter”(See the below screenshot). Here I select Volume 1 for example, you can select your volume.

5. Next type “REMOVE LETTER D”(Type the drive letter you want to hide, here I wrote D just for an example.)

       (Now go to MY Computer and check whether the drive is hidden or not. It should be hidden if you’ve done everything as above.)

6.To unhide the drive again, just type 
“ASSIGN LETTER letter of Drive”
